Dear Patient,

Unfortunately, there has been (and continues to be) a lot of misinformation and mass hysteria surrounding COVID-19.

I would like for you to know that our entire Clinical and Administrative Staff is monitoring the situation closely.

We have received a limited supply of test kits for COVID-19 which we are using judiciously but expect to receive more kits very soon.

The policies and procedures that we are implementing and following to treat and prevent the spread of communicable diseases such as COVID-19 come only from reputable medical sources such as:

CDC (Center for Disease Control)
NIH (National Institute of Health)
WHO (World Health Organization)
FL DOH (Florida Department of Health)

Be careful and try to avoid other sources of information that may not be accurate. Unfortunately misinformation and scams that prey on fear abound!

If you need our help with your health care needs, please do not hesitate to call us. Visit our COVID-19 help page. We are here for you. We are well poised to help you if you need our help.

Stay healthy and stay safe!

Warm regards,
J. Albert Avila, MD, FACEP, FAAEM | Medical DirectorJ. Albert Avila, MD, FACEP, FAAEM
